Well done! You’ve got your first date! This is probably the hardest part, and you’ve gotten here. So the rest theoretically should be smooth sailing right?

So now you need ideas on what to do, so you can have fun and impress your girl but not be bankrupt paying for it.
At the same time, you do not want to be the same as everyone else, because then your date will think you’re boring. So that’s why you jumped on the internet to do some research, and that’s how you ended up here.

The first thing to do, is to keep in mind that you want to get to know her and at the same time give her a chance to find out about you. You have to go somewhere that will let you both have a chance to talk and get to know each other. That’s the general rule for first dates. At the end of the evening, she will know more about you, and will like you even more!
If you go somewhere like the movies or a show, you won’t get a chance to talk and that’ll be the end of things. A lot of guys seem to forget this. What’s even worse, is that at the end of the date you will both be tired and won’t really be in the mood to talk to each other, so there’s no point in thinking that there’ll be time to talk over coffee when everything’s finished. You won’t have any chance to intrigue her or to tempt her into a second date. There won’t be a chance for interesting conversation at all.

- Indoor rock climbing is a great one because it doesn’t matter if it rains or not
- Mini golf is fun, so try it
- Going for a walk beside the lake, beach or river is great if you have a lot to talk about
- A lot of girls like to go shopping, you could ask her to help you pick out a new pair of shoes.
- Going to the park is nice but keep it low key and casual.
- Roller skating or ice skating is a lot of fun if you are sporty, and she is too.
- A cheap but exotic restaurant is fun if if it is a type of food you both don’t usually eat.
All these places would be a great place to conduct a first date and would mean that you could talk without interruptions!
What are other places to avoid?
We have already talked about why it is a bad idea to go to the movies, and it is also a bad idea to go out clubbing. Parties where a lot of other people will be around are not the best either. No one will get the chance to talk and the first date will not go well, and there will not be a chance to talk. Remember that the first date is hopefully for building a connection and attraction to each other. If the opportunity is not there, nothing will happen!
Remember, the key to get her attracted to you is by actually getting to know her.
So you want to make sure that the both of you end up in an environment that is conducive to talking and will help the interaction. If you take her to another party or loud places, not only will it make it extra hard for you during the date to talk to her, but you’re creating more and more obstacles. for yourself. If you take her to the party, what are you going to introduce her as? A friend? But then again you don’t want to be labelled a “friend” in her eyes because then you’ re going to be in the friends zone. But then you can’t really call her your “girl” because she hardly knows you and you don’t even know if she’s the kind of girl that suits you.
